Visitor Information
The San Joaquin Marsh is located adjacent to UC Irvine Campus. The UCI Arboretum serves as the primary entrance to the reserve, which is accessed via a driveway off Campus Drive between Jamboree Road and Carlson Avenue. Use of both the Arboretum and the San Joaquin Marsh is restricted to scheduled events and approved use for the purposes of research, teaching, and public service. Parking for users is free. A dirt road bounding the reserve, plus an array of roads around the experimental ponds, enables vehicle access to most regions for management and approved use.
